Save $8 if you pre-order Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction for Xbox or PC, and receive the game in your mailbox on the release date! Conviction is not supposed to release until April 13, 2010, but Amazon wants to sell as many as they can prior to the release, so they have already dropped the price to $51.99 (Xbox), and $46.99 (PC). I'm kinda intrigued with the Release Date Delivery idea, too. Not sure how they are going to get it to you on the day, and not before, but Amazon is pretty good at this sort of thing, so it must be right!

I will say, as a review of Splinter Cell Conviction, I downloaded the demo from Xbox Live last night. It was an excellent demo with plenty of easy to use controls, and nice response from the character. AI didn't seem to bad either. Plus Splinter Cell Conviction is a beautifully designed game, so it was easy on the eyes. If you have young children, and don't want them to hear the F-bomb dropped over and over, you can't purchase Splinter Cell Conviction. I had to turn the sound way down almost immediately to keep the young ears in our house from picking up the cursing. Not sure how I'm going to actually get to play the full game with all of that going on!

Pros - beautifully designed, excellent AI.
Cons - lots of swearing and cursing, almost immediately. Fairly bloody also!
