Brütal Legend – Buy It Cheap or Skip It

So obviously from the title, I'm not going to be a big fan of Brutal Legend. The download became available on Xbox Live late last week, and I downloaded it. Jack Black is pretty cool, and I used to like metal, so what the heck. Well, the only good parts of the Brutal Legend demo were the cool music. The gameplay is okay, but it doesn't make much sense. You are basically just running around popping a bunch of druid looking guys with a giant axe. Well, until you get a guitar which can blow the druid guys up. I couldn't even finish the Brutal Legend demo because it was just so silly.
So recommendations? Save your money if you are looking for a fun and challenging game. Spend your money on Brutal Legend if your friends are all going to buy it and you don't want to be left out of the online play. Or spend your money if you really like metal, and want to play a game with 108 different heavy metal songs blended into the game. Brutal Legend is $56.99 with free shipping at Amazon (pre-order until October 8th). Look for Brutal Legend to start hitting eBay about 3 days to a week after release, and you'll start to see some great used deals below on Brutal Legend!
