Can You Be Too Frugal?

As a bargain site, our overriding idea before posting is "can we say that the products we are showing are actually bargains". 100% of the time, we think we've found the best price for our readers, but since prices are a moving target, sometimes by the time you see it, they may be higher than we have expected.
So, we have in our minds the idea of frugality when shopping. But is it possible to be too frugal? I was reading an article on The Guardian's website about a lady who, when faced with a loss of job and an apartment she couldn't afford, chucked it all, and decided to pursue the life of a squatter. Her name is Katharine Hibbert, and she decided to live the squatter life for a year and see if she could keep from spending any money, find food and things she needs from the dumpsters, and find housing in one of the many vacant buildings and home in London.
You'll have to read her story to find out how she did it, and how she's doing with this life, but what do you think? Would you ever pursue such a frugal lifestyle that it brought you to a point that you owned nothing but the clothes on your back? Could you live from a dumpster (she frequented high end dumpsters)? Let me know!
