Easy Controls - Apart from the image-quality improvements offered by the Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera, maneuvering through the vast menu of professional settings has become a bit easier. That is due, at least in part, to the fact that Canon has created a new “Quick Control” screen for the Canon EOS 5D. Through that screen, the camera’s most commonly changed settings are just a touch away. In addition, the new “Creative Auto” mode enables the shooter to delegate control of specified settings to the Mark II while continuing to manipulate other creative variables like brightness and blur. Canon lensman further benefit from convenient user settings which make quick shifts between unique environments---like no-flash and fill-flash---easy to execute.
High-Tech Transmission - In a final effort to round out the high-tech nature of its latest photographic wonder, Canon engineered the EOS 5D Mark II camera to include wireless functionality. Through the use of the WFT-E4 attachment, the Mark II gains external HDD and GPS compatibility, camera-to-computer or FTP-server capability, and wireless camera operations. What more could a professional photog ask for? A new, Canon EOS 5D Mark III, I suppose.
