The dials and buttons will allow you to customize the white balance or activate the i-Contrast mode with one touch. The menu will show you what you are doing so it’s easier to get pictures right on the first shot. The menu of the G11 is readily understandable to even the novice photographer.
You can use the movie mode of the Canon PowerShot G11 and expect great quality. The G11 does have a limited resolution. This means that your movie won’t fit the more modern, wide-screen flat tv’s because it has only a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The G11 digital camera also has a very flexible lens range and has a long battery life so you can take pictures longer; change batteries less.
It is just an all around great digital camera for anyone to use. Very simple and the bottom line is that it takes great pictures and that’s what’s most important for any digital camera photographer.
