Unless you frequent high-end hotels, getting a hotel room for a good price in a good section of the city you are visiting is a very tall order. There's always something wrong in at least one of those instances. The price might be right, but the location is dead wrong. Or the location is great but the price is way higher than what you want it to be in that area.
And don't even think that using online reviews and pictures of the property will help make a ...
Find more bargains at: Find Cheap Bargains!

Picking A Hotel Room In An Unfamiliar City

All of hype on not only the stock market news channels, but the normal channels as well, is the Facebook IPO. Priced at a probable $38 per share, the Facebook IPO has been on radar of many investors and traders for quite a few years. The IPO is so hot in fact that while IPO's are usually reserved for institutional investors and insiders, this particular offering has been made available to just normal investors who have accounts with eTrade and other discount brokerages. But should you buy ...
Find more bargains at: Find Cheap Bargains!

Bargain Friday – Do Not Buy the Facebook IPO

The annual Gum Tree 10k run is taking place in front of my apartment in about 30 minutes, but if you know anything about a run like that through city streets, the process of blocking off the streets starts much earlier, like two hours prior. So I hastily jumped up and got ready this morning: my computer and backpack, sunglasses, and my bike since it's kinda hard to drive away from a race when the streets are blocked. But I forgot my phone, but in retrospect, I like ...
Find more bargains at: Find Cheap Bargains!

Running Away From A Run

In lieu of a post on product bargains today, I thought I would just share this fun little site, Ikea Hackers. If you are lucky enough to have an Ikea near you, or have experienced the furniture store, you know just how functional this Swedish furniture is and can be. But until now, I just never realized that it was so functional that it could be arranged into other types of furniture with just a little bit of effort!
Ikea Hackers is completely user supported with each post displaying ...
Find more bargains at: Find Cheap Bargains!

Hack Ikea Furniture Like They Were Legos

This is another stock market post, so if you don't like those, tune out now!
I kinda messed up this morning and pretty much broke at least two of my trading rules in the process. But I think it was a good mess-up. I had nice position of Cyprss ($CY) going into the day. The position was first opened at $15.70 back in March and had steadily declined down to a low of around $14.30. Today was earnings day, so holding the position into earnings was the ...
Find more bargains at: Find Cheap Bargains!

Breaking Trading Rules With Cypress Semiconductor

With the news this week that Best Buy will be closing up to 50 stores and opening up mobility stores in their wake, I thought maybe this morning it was time to look at what is really wrong with Best Buy. For full disclosure, I am an affiliate of the company, and any products below will go to their site. That being said, I rarely post Best Buy products in my reviews these days. I used to try and at least give them some space, just because ...
Find more bargains at: Find Cheap Bargains!

What Is Wrong With Best Buy
