Using the Cricut 29-0001 Personal Electronic Cutting Machine is a breeze. Place your material on the cutting mat, put it in the machine, load your cartridge, pick out your designs and press the ‘Cut’ button. Designs can be from 1 inch high to 5-1/2 inches tall and up to 11-1/2 inches wide. The Cricut 29-0001 cutting machine includes a George and Simple Shapes cartridge (when purchased new) which allows you thousands of variations but you can also buy other cartridges as well.
We would like to see the paper accepted to be a bit bigger. At a maximum of 6" x 12", there's a little room left for those shapes you need to fill an entire scrapbook page. But keeping in mind that most cartridge shapes are no bigger than 5.5" in width, 6" is obviously going to be acceptable.
The Cricut 29-0001 Personal Electronic Cutting Machine is great for thoughtful people who love to make greeting cards and other nice decorations for their friends. You have to be realistic though; you will not want to crank out 500 wedding invitations with this machine. You could, but it would take forever. So, the machine isn't for professionals as much as it's for the home hobbyist!
