With my arm in a sling, today's post is going to be difficult, but I'm giving it a go! I usually put together everything for the upcoming week on Friday night, but that's gotta wait today!
What I have instead today is the chance to up your collection of DC Star T-shirts. DC Star shirts are the natural offshoot of the popular line of skate shoes available from the company. DC Star sells apparel for skaters and snowboarders and a few other sports (think extreme sports), but the DC company itself started with shoes for skaters, and that's where most of the popularity lies.
And because skaters are typically the more important customer for DC, then most clothing will be designed for that skating crowd. The most popular of all clothing are the DC Star T-shirts, which basically feature the standard DC logo, which includes a star on the right side of the C cutout.
You can of course pickup DC Star shirts with that standard logo on them, and in pretty much any color you might be able to think of. And those shirts definitely suit the purpose of showing the world that you support DC clothing in your lifestyle.
But collectors of the shirts will probably be more interested in finding DC Star shirts with unique styles, but still including the logo woven into the style some way. Some of the shirts are available in lots, so you will be able to rapidly build up a collection. While others are very much known as being unique or extremely collectible, Those will be a bit more pricey than the ones in the lots. However, a lot could hide a hidden gem, so look within to see which collection method works best for you.
DC Star shirts for both men and women are available (as you can see in the picture at the top). I don't recommend heather grey, just because the logo tends to not stand out at all. If the Star logo being muted is what you want, then of course that's the best color. But bright blue, purple, and yellow are great for those times when you want to stand out. The darker blacks and browns are good colors for skating events.
