This might be a weirdly placed review, given that we usually just review electronics, motorcycles, and whatnot. And I promise I'll get back to those this week. But this Downy Wrinkle Release spray that I purchased yesterday is pretty darn awesome, and it felt right to share my opinion of it!

I work in an office setting, so having ironed clothes is a must. However, I've recently gone on a minimalist mission, and do not physically own an ironing board or iron any longer. Most days, if I just take my clothes from the dryer, give them a shake, and then immediately hang them up, I'm okay on the ironing. I am in tech after all, so a little wrinkle is okay. Lately though clothes have not been releasing the wrinkles after drying, so I needed another option. Purchasing an ironing board and iron doesn't interest me at all, so research time!

That's when I found this Downy Wrinkle Release spray. The way it works is that you spread out the shirt or pants that need ironed, spray or mist the fabric a little, then give it (the clothing) a tug here and there to stretch out the wrinkles. After that, just hang the fabric up, and wait for the wrinkles to leave.

I sprayed one pretty darn wrinkly shirt last night with the Downy Wrinkle Release spray, did the tugging number, and then waited an hour to see what would happen. After that just one hour, almost every wrinkle in the front of the shirt was gone. Frankly, that's more than I expected out of a product like this.

The only thing I do not like about Downy Wrinkle Release is the smell. No, it doesn't smell bad; it's actually a pretty nice powdery flower smell. Not girly at all (thank God), but a bit overpowering. So I only sprayed the one shirt and a pair of pants to keep the smell down. My sense of smell can be a little more sensitive than others might have, so the Downy Wrinkle Release spray might not be at all overpowering for you.

Coming into today, I can still smell the Downy Wrinkle Release on my clothing this morning. I'm hoping that it goes away as I go through the day, but the Downy smell is not nearly as strong as it was right after I sprayed the clothes last night.

As far as time goes, I think to remove all the wrinkles from your clothes, you should give them at least 30 minutes before wearing after spraying the Downy Wrinkle Release. That gives the spray long enough to dry out so you don't put on wet clothes. Also, after leaving the shirt and pants just hanging for the last 10 hours, the wrinkles are still gone, so I'm sure you can pre-spray everything if you want to and the Downy will keep the wrinkles away.

My apologies if this came out sounding like a commercial. I am in no way good at reviewing sprays, fabric softeners, and the like. But what I do know is that the Downy Wrinkle Releaser spray really works.
