Find Cheap Bargains – Top Reviews For Last Week
Pin It

Since we won't be writing nearly as many reviews on the site as we have previously (see yesterday's post), I thought it would be a good day to rehash the most popular product reviews of the past week, along with a few new ones that I thought could possibly do well with our readers in the coming months. Including the Christmas season of course!
Top Posts for The Past Week
#1 - Honda Goldwing Trikes - This post is almost always right there as the most popular on the site. For some reason, people just want those three-wheeled motorcycles. I suppose they tend to make a very comfortable ride just a little bit safer (and easier) for those looking to get into touring.
#2 - Cub Scout Uniforms - Along with the beginning of the new school year, there is invariably the run on Cub Scout uniforms. I don't know about you guys, but I've priced the new uniforms, and those things are expensive. When you consider that the kids barely wear the official uniform most of the time, it makes sense to purchase new!
#3 - Rat Rods - Another of those posts that's near the top most of the time. You would think that the highest interest in a Rat Rod would be in the spring time, but no. Fall is the best; probably due to potential owners looking to begin work on a new ride during the colder months so that they'll be ready for the springtime car shows.
#4 - Chain Saws - The chainsaw viewership is expected for this time of year, with everyone getting ready for winter by getting that firewood ready. When I was a kid, we always started on firewood in the summer, so I'm always curious as to why people get interested in the Fall. Maybe Dad was just trying to annoy us by doing it in the heat of summer. Of particular interest are the Stihl chainsaws (#5), Husqvarna chainsaws (#6), and of course the saws from Jonsered (#7).
#8 - Nintendo 3DS - The console took a nice price drop at the end of August, and people are looking to purchase one or two for gifts during Christmas. Consequently, our page on DSi XL (#9) has dunked downwards a bit with the 3DS pricing it out at the moment. But it's still in our top 10.
#10 - Beer Tap Handles - What goes better with football than beer? Okay, maybe chips and dip, but we don't sell that here, so the next best thing are beer tap handles. This post is one of our oldest, from way back when I didn't know what I was doing. It always drops after the Super Bowl and picks right back up in September.
I believe that's 10 entries, but there is one that has worried me for awhile. Our Can-Am Spyder Roadster post used to be either #1 or #2, but has gradually gone away (to around 16th place). I'm curious as to whether interest in the Roadster has dropped considerably, or if our site just wasn't providing the information potential owners needed.
Potential Top Product Reviews
I see these 5 as some that have the most potential in the coming weeks. I could be wrong, but the visitation of them makes me think they should start bumping into the top tiers soon.
#1 - Samsung BD-D5700 Blu-ray Player - Just reviewed on Wednesday of this week, this player has already received substantial visits, and we know why! You want to know why, right? You'll just have to read our review!
#2 - Samsung SH100 Camera - Another Samsung product, but a camera instead. This camera is a point-and-shoot, and fairly cheap. What makes it special is the emphasis on sharing the photos via the built-in wireless.
#3 - Polaroid GL10 Printer - We have an almost instantaneous need to share everything today with our texting, photos, and a mix of the two on Facebook and Twitter. But how about sharing physical products instantly? That's where the fun Polaroid GL10 printer comes in!
#4 - Panasonic ZS8 Digital Camera - It's a cheaper version of a sister camera, but we think the missing pieces probably won't matter if price is more of a concern.
#5 - Bose Lifestyle T20 Home Theater - Most people find Bose products too expensive. And I would have to agree. But if sound quality and ease of use are more interesting to you than the price of the unit, then I think the Bose T20 might by the right home theater system. It's definitely less frustrating than almost all other systems.
And finally, we're setting up a special niche site for our camera reviews. With the updates to Google in July and August, we've seen a dramatic decrease at the site because it's not niche enough (I think). So, we're going to niche it out by introducing Find Cheap Cameras today.
That's it for this week, and look for these weekly roundups to start up in earnest again. I think we stopped doing them back in June of this year because of the amount of reviews we were trying to do daily. But now is a great time to crank them back up! Thanks for hanging in there with us!
