Forza Motorsport 3 Review

I've been waiting for some time to purchase the Forza 3 video game(Forza Motorsport 3), and finally got it yesterday! The graphics of the game completely live up to the hype, and the game is still just as great at being a racing sim as it was in Forza 2. The cars drive like you expect them to, and the handling is superb.

I do however have one problem with Forza 3, and that's in the multi-player section. I never actually played Forza 2 multi-player, but you are put in a lobby to wait on a game to start. Depending on the players that were there before you, you might wait 6-7 minutes for those players to finish their current race, and then there is a 1:30 wait between races for the next one to start. That's not too bad, but what is really bad is the chance to vote other racers out of that particular lobby. So, you could wait for the race to start for 5 minutes, then find yourself being voted out of the game. This happened once to me last night, and I found it to be very frustrating, since I had to start the wait all over again in another lobby.

Other than that problem, Forza 3 is a great game, with new cars and new tracks added to the the tracks and cars that were available in Forza 2. Forza 3 comes on 2 discs, with the second discs being additional cars and tracks. It installs 1.8 Gb of data on your Xbox hard drive, so you do need to have enough space available if you want the additional cars and tracks from Forza 3 (of course you do).
