Fujifilm FinePix F505 Digital Camera Sale

I'm a little bit late on reviewing the Fujifilm Finepix F505 camera, with a certain retailer making an awesome sale out of the camera earlier this week. But the Fujifilm F5050 camera is a fantastic camera at the retail price, and if you are able to get it at any other, then absolutely it's freaking great good deal.
Of course, I have said why yet, and honestly I think I'll skip some of the more obvious reasons why. Suffice it to say just about any 16 megapixel point-and-shoot camera with a CMOS sensor, 1080p HD recording and 15x optical zoom to be had for under $200 (under the best price available as of this writing) is a deal that should be scooped up. The Fujifilm FinePix F505 digital camera offers just a bit more to make it a perfect camera for those looking for a more advanced system than they might get from the typical point-and-shoot.

What the Fujifilm F505 camera offers that others in its price range and features list doesn't is the ability to quickly set the camera for the scene needed on each shot you want to take. I'm talking automatic settings for shutter speed, accounting for white light, and ISO. The Fujifilm F505 is designed around the EXR auto mode, which is Fuji's own unique design for registering the environment and allowing you to snap your photo.

Okay, lots of cameras have automatic functions like this, but have you ever noticed that when you press the shutter button, a point-and-shoot camera might pause a second or two before actually taking the shot? That's because the auto functions are setting the scene and setting it slowly mind you. The Fujifilm F505 camera is almost instantaneous in determining what settings are right for your photo, allowing a super quick shutter release, and leaving those photos of people without the strained smiles of standing too long waiting for a flash (you know exactly what I'm talking about here).
The other part of the Fujifilm F505 camera that stands out is the very clear LCD screen. With a 460,000 dot matrix, the screen has much less pixellation than most other 3-inch LCD screens, and therefore looks cleaner from the photographer's perspective at the time of the shot. Maybe that doesn't sound too important, but think about how having a clear picture could help you see issues in your shot that you want cleaned up. Embarrassing situations for those being photographed, foreground obstructions that take away from the overall shot you want, those types of items come to mind that could be fixed with a clear preview given by a higher level LCD screen.

Fuji manufactures the F505 camera in either a black or white body, to give us just a bit more choice than the typical and professional look of the black bodied camera. The white also complements the new white cameras seen in other high-end (but not DSLR) cameras seen on the market today.
