The S2800HD camera has the technology capable of taking movie files in high definition (HD). In fact, the camera captures 720p high definition, and has a port to send the movie directly to an HDTV. The vivid pictures of personal memories are phenomenal.
The high resolution shots taken with the 18x wide-angle lens is an optical zoom that takes the 28mm to an over-500mm telephoto shot. The FinePix S2800HD also zooms instantaneously. What this feature accomplishes, is that the person taking the photo will see a wider view than what the camera actually captures so that the person can easily keep the subject directly in front of the lens from a greater distance away.
The high tolerance features built into the FinePix S2800HD camera offer options like detecting blinks and smiles, the ability to automatically focus while tracking, and the recognition of scenes that is fully automatic. The detector for blinks and smiles will warn if someone blinked and will snap the photo when the person in the focal point is smiling. Tracking movement automatically is a forgiving technique the camera uses to enable the photographer to take a smoother movie of a moving target. Then, the camera can be set so that it automatically reads the scene to tell if it is an indoor shot or an over-exposed outdoor shot and will balance while the photographer merely points and shoots.
