The Fujifilm X10 camera is a small, compact camera with numerous features. The camera has a retro design similar to that of its more famous x100 brother. In fact, that's what makes it so unique to most other cameras! It is smaller than x100 though. The top and bottom plates are made of magnesium. The other parts are made of synthetic leather.
The screen on the Fujifilm X10 is 2.8 inch wide which matches the width of the sensor is capable of 460K dots resolution. It also features an optical viewfinder which provides 85 percent coverage. It provides perfect display using the zoom of lens. It can be used for shooting. However, the length between the viewfinder and the len’s zoom combined with the 85 percent maximum coverage, the LCD screen offers a more practical option for general shooting.

The Fujifilm x10 contains a 12MP 2/3in EXR CMOS chip that provides large pixel images. It utilizes the EXR technology, Fujifilm is famous for. For high ISO images, it makes use of 6MP resolution instead of the normal 12MP. The EXR technology works by using 6MP or 6 million photosites to enhance the light capacity even if the light is low. It can capture dynamic images with half of the pixels focusing on the highlight and other half on the shadow. The result is a much clearer and cleaner photo.

The Fujifilm X10 camera has adjustable lens capable of 4x optical zoom. It also features Optical Image Stabilization for stable image capture even when the camera is shaking. Shooting up close may require the use of either Macro or Super Macro features.
The camera can be set to capture single or self-timed images at 2 seconds or 10 seconds. The pop up flash is surreptitiously located in the top plate. It can be adjusted to a shutter speed of up to 1/4000 sec. The flash is more suitable for close photography. If you want to add power to the flash, you can attach a Fujifilm flashgun to it.
The large 2/3 inch sensor provides excellent image details. The image looks clear even if printed in an A4 paper. The X10 camera provides the regular 100 to 320 ISO range using 12MP. But if you use 6MP and 3MP, the range can be extended to 6,400 and 12,800 respectively. Using ISO 100-600 provides clean JPEG and Raw images. Beyond that range, the image deteriorates.

We like the Fujifilm X10 mostly due to the retro design and feel, but the features complete the camera into a prominent place in the most modern of digital cameras!
