Every year, we try and try to get our shopping complete before the final couple of shopping days prior to Christmas, but there's always that one or two that you couldn't find, or maybe you forgot (like your boss' present). Yeah, it's not really something that you are going to be able to tie an emotional memory around, but you probably weren't going to do that anyway with a regular gift card purchase.

So, anywhere between $5 and $5,000 gets a great gift card emailed promptly to whomever you need to send that last minute gift too! The Amazon email gift cards really are great for friends that live too far to give the present, and if a present to them slipped your mind, we really like Amazon's cards basically because you can buy almost anything there! They are also good for teenagers who might be interested in shopping for themselves online after Christmas is over.

If you want to fight traffic, but maybe not the mall traffic, try your local grocery store for gift cards. Our local Kroger, Wal-Mart, and even Walgreens and CVS have displays for lots of different gift cards for all kinds of stores! You can pretty much pick any restaurant, clothing store (like Kohl's or JCPenney's), electronics store gift cards (Best Buy), your local big box stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.), and even home improvement store gift cards (Home Depot, Lowes). The gift card I found that I wanted the most was for Olive Garden. That place is pretty expensive, so I would take one of those cards in a minute!
