Now there are other Breville juicers that are a bit cheaper, but the Hamilton Beach is better than those, and still cheaper. While other models typically stop at 700 rpm's, the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth offers an 800 rpm motor. That little bit extra allows more for extraction of juice, leaving you with more output and less juicy pulp waste.
With cheaper usually comes better options, and the Hamilton Beach is no exception. It has an extra large chute (hence the Big Mouth name) which allows far bigger whole fruits to be juiced. This saves time in the pre-juicing steps since you may not have to cut the fruit at all or just a little bit.
The pulp collector is also bigger than most centrifugal juicers. The pulp container on the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth juicer is just about as big as the juicer itself, allowing for you to just juice away for much longer periods of time than other competing juicers. Because the collector is separate from the centrifugal juicing part, cleanup is much easier with the majority of pulp being properly discarded away from the main compartment.

With cheaper does come the age old issue of "will it last". The answer might be that it depends, and that might seem like a cop out but it's not. If the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth juice extractor is used daily or multiple times a day, you can be sure that the plastic-ness (new word!) of it will not last for more than a few years. If juicing is a semi-regular, every few days, or once a week, the juicer should last for quite some time.
