Handmade Quilts
In an age of mass production, it's easy to settle for the quilts you can find in your local JCPenney's, Macey's, Target, and even Wal-Mart. But for true comfort, I know most of us would rather have a handmade quilt. Thankfully, with the internet, it's easy to find quilts specific to your wants.
eBay has been a great place to find handmade quilts from the Amish, Mennonite, and Native American cultures in North America. While a couple of these cultures won't sell directly, there are many people who buy directly from these cultures and provide the handmade quilts to you.
You'll also find quilts from cultures much like your own. I like to call these "Grandmother quilts" because they are like what my Grandmother might have sewn when I was little. These types of quilts may be found as Wedding Ring quilts, Rag quilts, and vintage quilts. Vintage quilts might be from estate sales, and are definitely sought after.
