Almost My Vanilla Bean Frappuccino Just Missing Vanilla Root!

I'm working on revamping some other reviews on this blog this weekend (namely my Pinarello and Cervelo bike pages), so I don't have a lot of time to review or get my hands on a real electronics product today. But what I have got in my hands is this wonderful, white as snow, Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino from Starbucks!

A friend of mine from work found out that I have a bad habit in Starbucks and asked if I had tried the Vanilla Bean. Uh, no, I usually just hit the espresso and creme hotness thank you very much. I'm not sure what a vanilla bean is, I said, but it doesn't sound like coffee.

Well, after having it here (and it's almost gone just 100 words in), I'd have to rate it as probably the best drink within Starbucks that does not include coffee. The Vanilla Bean Frap is nothing more than milk and ice whipped with cream and vanilla to produce something that's about the consistency of cool whip, but with that icey cold flavor on the taste buds. And just to make it extra special, there is some sort of Cool Whip concoction to top it off.

Frankly, this Vanilla Bean Frap is probably all I really need. Coffee was probably a very bad idea tonight, just thinking back that I've now been awake for 40 straight hours, and really should be going to bed soon. But I don't know that I will. This special little drink has around 57 grams of sugar, which is sure to keep one going for quite awhile!

If this sounds good to you, but you prefer a hot over a cold vanilla beverage, and you want that jolt of coffee, there is a Caffe Vanilla Frap available. I haven't tried it yet, but it has more sugar and a truck ton of caffeine to get one up and running pretty quickly.
