I've been very interested in traveling abroad lately, and found this great book at the top of the Travel section of Amazon. It's called "Journeys of a Lifetime, 500 of the World's Greatest Trips". Published by National Geographic, "Journeys" gives you 500 exciting ideas for trips around the world, in all areas of the world. In addition, there are pictures of each location, maps of the locations, and directions on how to get to each of the 500 areas.

Some of the trips you'll probably be familiar with, such as hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro, but also trips maybe you aren't as familiar with (like riding the Ghan train through the Australian Outback). Plus "Journeys of a Lifetime" features over 20 Top 10 lists of ideas such as the best elevators to ride in the world, ancient highways, or the most fantastic bridges. There's a little bit of everything in Journeys, and with National Geographics photo history, you'll have some great high quality photos of places you may never get to see, but sure can dream of easier with this book!
