Sometimes you just need a cheap little camera that doesn't require a lot of effort to create photos or video, but you want a little more than the camera on your cell or smart phone can provide. That's where a camera like the Kodak EasyShare C182 digital camera falls into the market! Currently priced at $70 and less, the Kodak C182 camera offers ease of use, really nice photo quality, and it's extremely easy to use!
The Kodak EasyShare C182 camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels for a more clear and crisp photo. 12 megapixels is honestly a little more than we would expect in a camera at this price range. However the more important aspect is the availability of a high ISO, which is really the best factor in creating less noisy photos. Add the 3x optical zoom capability, and the Kodak C182 has a pretty extensive range to create some of the better quality photos available on a sub $100 digital camera.

For ease of use, the Kodak EasyShare C182 includes an option called Smart Capture. Smart Capture, when turned on, allows the C182 to determine the shooting environment and to adjust the camera accordingly (such as the ISO setting and the focus). The Kodak C182 with Smart Capture will reduce the dark shadows seen in regular low light photos and also clean up the choppy "noise" typically found in darker pictures. Unless you are trying to work on your photographic creativity, you will probably want to leave Smart Capture turned on almost all of the time to reduce the work associated with photo capture setup.

The Kodak EasyShare C182 camera features a fairly large 3" LCD screen to use for framing your shots as well as for instant playback. The LCD has two brightness adjustments, one for outside and one for inside, which basically keeps the screen from blinding you inside and reduces your squinting outside. Because there is not a viewfinder, you will probably want to hold the camera out a bit to help setup your photos, but this does increase the chance of camera shake and blurring. However, Kodak designed anti-blur and anti-shake software into the Kodak C182 to help alleviate those issues, and to help keep photos sharp and neat.
And finally, we couldn't overlook the fact that the Kodak C182 is an EasyShare camera, now could we? With a single touch button, Kodak has designed the C182 to upload videos to your Youtube account and your photos to the Kodak EasyShare Gallery. The red EasyShare button is right there on the bottom right of the camera so it's easy to spot and easy to use. Of course, if you want to upload photos to Flickr, Facebook, or some other social site, you can do that, and it's still very easy to do. Just find the photos or videos on the camera (using your computer) and upload. But if Youtube and the Kodak Gallery are your preferences, then the EasyShare button makes it very easy.
The Kodak EasyShare C182 camera is available in the standard silver as well as blue and red (which are becoming standards in the point-and-shoot camera market). However, for a little more fun, the C182 in purple brings a bit more boldness and fun to your camera choice.
For an easy-to-use point and shoot camera, it's hard to beat the Kodak C182, especially at this price. If you have a child that's becoming interested in photography, this might be a good starter camera. It's cheap enough that you won't worry if it becomes broken, and it's so easy to use, even an 8-year-old can use it (yes we verified this).
