The Ducati 748 sport bike was first introduced into the United States in 1997. It has been produced until 2002 when it was replaced by the Ducati 749 (see here for more on the replacement motorcycle). The 748 is a middleweight twin that is related to the 916, 996 and 998. The bike will set you back better than $12,000 (MSRP). The rear wheel at its peak will give you 99.4 hp. This particular Ducati motorcycle requires at least 92 octane for proper combustion. It has an 88 X 61.5 mm bore and stroke, with a compression ratio of 11.5:1 Its shorter stroke gives it higher revolutions.

The Ducati 748cc motorcycle is a liquid cooled L twin and weighs in at a hefty 432 lb. It has a seat height of 31.1 in. with a 6 speed transmission. Its wheelbase is 55.5 in. Ducati always comes through with a gem of a bike. For the racer in you cannot go wrong with the Ducati 748 or 749.
