More midrange power is available in a higher-revving engine with four cylinders in a 599 cc. liquid-cooled dohc inline- 4. Its bodywork has been upgraded in 2009 making it look a bit racier, including an inverted fork.
The Honda CBR600RR is now available with ABS braking. This combines anti-lock braking with combined braking of both front and rear tires, patented by Honda. This is definitely a plus in sport bikes. It has a close-ratio 6 speed transmission chain. 17 in. radial tires front and rear. Front dual disc brakes and rear disc brakes. Seat height at 32.3 in. and a 53.9 in. wheelbase.
