Yamaha WR450 Motorcycles for Sale
With it's 449cc engine, the Yamaha WR450 motorcycle is one of the most powerful motorcycles that Yamaha has ever created for the WR class! The engine is a liquid coold engine which features five titanium made valves. You'll get more power, better throttle performance, and more over revving ability to the Yamaha WR450 motorcycle, allowing you to separate yourself from your riding buddies at any time you want!
The throttle performance on the Yamaha WR450 motorcycle is helped along with the 39 millimeter Keihin carburetor, featuring a sensor that mixes the fuel and air perfectly. You'll also depend upon the digitized CDI ignition system for a better response as you accelerate. Just push the button to start the WR450 motorcycle, and the CDI ignition continually monitors the engine speed as you ride, and provides the timing to keep up with anything you want to do, even in the hardest acceleration you attempt.
To help with overall performance, Yamaha made the WR450 motorcycle extremely light. The aluminum frame is engineered much like a YZ motorcycle to be strong yet lighter at the same time, but still keep the feel of a Yamaha motorcycle that enthusiasts are accustomed to having. For further weight reduction, it's possible to remove the subframe from the rear of the WR450. You may just want to leave it on for casual riding, but if you are into racing your motorcycles, then the subframe can be very easily removed.
For ride handling, the Yamaha WR450 motorcycle's fork is completely adjustable to keep fade at a minimum, depending on how you you want the motorcycle to feel. 12" of travel at the shocks further enhance the performance of the ride with the swingarm controlling all of the movement from the rear.
