The Onkyo TX SR707 comes with a 700W 7.2-Ch. A/V home theater receiver, a
preset remote, and the essential owner's manual. To get the most of all the features available with this home theater, you’ll need to make use of the owner’s manual. That’s not a bad thing, either. More features means more fun.
There are six HDMI inputs on the Onkyo TX SR 707 Home Theater Receiver. Onkyo has thrown in everything but the kitchen sink of HDMI inputs and then thrown in two kitchen sinks for good measures. There’s not much you won’t be able to use with this home theater system.

The technology is up to par, however the coloring of the system isn’t the most handsome in the world. It doesn’t need to win a beauty contest, though, and more than makes up for it with the impressive sounds the TX SR-707 produces. The list of features is mind-boggling! There are so many features that I can’t think of anything they’ve left out or that would make this a bad purchase for the price it’s offered at. I’ll try to cover a few of the features that make this system worth it to me.

- Faroudja DCDi Cinema technology - This gives me top notch video through 1080p upconversion. I have to have top-notch video with anything I buy, so mark this as a huge plus.
- SIRIUS Satellite radio-ready - You have to have the hook-up for Sirus, but once you’ve got it, the Onkyo TX SR-707 home theater receiver can handle it! There are way too many theater receivers out there that aren’t ready for Sirius.
- Music optimizer - Amen on this one, too! I don’t want just normal audio for any media I use this for. I want it to sound huge. The Onkyo TX SR707 comes through on this feature as well.
- 700W power output - For me, I have to have power to the sound and this is a huge system for this. Movies sound amazing.
With its number of HDMI inputs, Sirius capability, and power output, I’m recommending the Onkyo TX SR-707 home theater receiver to everyone who cares enough to ask me if I recommend it.
