When I got my first look at the Panasonic DMC-GH1 Four Thirds digital camera, I was much more than impressed! If you have ever needed a camera that could not only take amazing, high quality pictures, but also record high definition video, then this camera is definitely the one for you.
The first indication I had that the DMC-GH1 camera might not be "just another digital camera" was when I found out it could take 1080/24p or 720/60p HD videos. I had never before had a camera which could produce videos with such amazing quality. After further discovering that the camera uses Four Thirds lens and that they are interchangable, I just had to go out and purchase one.

I tore open the package the instant I received it. There, sitting in front of me was my very own Panasonic DMC-GH1 Four Thirds Digital Camera. It was all mine. I immediately dropped everything else that I had been doing and began taking pictures (much to the dismay of my family). I was in awe at the amazing face detection which was built into the camera, allowing the camera to automatically focus the lens on the person I wanted it to.

Not only is the Panasonic DMC-GH1 able to take high quality photos, but with the high quality LCD screen it features, it is able to show you, with remarkable clarity, a preview of your photos. This is definitely a convenience over many of the cameras I have had that took great photos, but displayed horrible previews of them on its built-in screen.
I even walked around the house, using my Four Thirds digital camera to record a high definition film of my house. Later, I burnt it to a DVD and watched it on my HD TV. After seeing my house on HD, I wondered why my house didn't look like that before I recorded it!
