The Panasonic ES-LA93-K electric shaver is a wet or dry shaver, so you can use it wherever you want or are most comfortable. Personally, I like shaving in the shower, so an electric shaver that works from within the shower is preferable to me, and this one does without fault.

The head of the Panasonic ES-LA93-K features four blades instead of the standard 2 or 3 to help you get the job done quicker. The blades are placed within the head of the shave at a 30-degree angle to provide a more angled approach to cutting. The blades on the Panasonic ES-LA93-K are also pretty special, with Panasonic choosing to use the increasingly popular nanotechnology to sharpen the blades prior to placing them in the shaver.
To help the blades move and cut, there are two motors in the head of the shaver. One motor quickly wiggles the head from side to side while the other moves the entire head up and down. The head of the electric shaver has a more extreme pivot movement than I've seen on other shavers, allowing it to move even more around the face, under the jaw, and into the surrounding neck area.
The foil covering the cutting surface is obviously there to raise the hairs up so that they can be cut easier. But what makes the foil different than other shavers is the extreme thinness of the foil. By making the foil extremely thin, this gives the Panasonic Panasonic ES-LA93-K shaver a better chance at providing a closer shave.

The Panasonic ES-LA93-K shaver is battery driven and includes a blue tinted LCD display to help you keep up with the battery life as you head into your shaving period. The battery on the shaver lasts for about 14 shaves, provided you only spend about 3 minutes on shaving. I take a bit longer, maybe five minutes, so that equals about 8 shaves before the Panasonic ES-LA93-K needs a new charge. Thankfully, charging time only takes an hour, so you won't have to wait long before it's ready. If you are in a hurry, the Panasonic shaver can be plugged directly into the wall for a quick and easy shave.
The only other items to talk about with respect to the Panasonic ES-LA93-K shaver is the high speed of the motor and the pop-up trimmer. The speed of the motor doing the actual cutting is rated at 14,000 rpm's. That speed is based on a fully charged shaver, and not one that is close to needing a new charge. But even at a low charge, it should stay extremely quick.
The pop-up trimmer is a feature that not a lot of electric razors or shavers have, but the Panasonic ES-LA93-K wet/dry shaver comes through for those of us who don't want sideburns or at least want to keep them short. Easy to open, easy to close, and right there for you.
Check out the Panasonic ES-LA93-K wet/dry shaver if you are looking for a great bargain on an electric shaving system. Most people tend to gravitate toward the Braun brands for a first shaver, but quickly realize that other brands, like this Panasonic, can actually be better.
