The Panasonic DMC-FX700 features a 3 inch screen with touch features like touch shooting, touch playback, and also a bit of auto focus thrown in on the touch. Like other point-and-shoot cameras, there is no viewfinder, but removing the viewfinder and most of the buttons associated with operating the camera allows the very large 3-inch screen to be designed into such a small little package.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 camera is also capable of recording videos in AVCHD mode. This feature allows for a longer recording time compared to other HD recording cameras. All recorded videos allow different selector modes for audio. This ensures that all videos will be complemented with superior sound quality.
