When I first found the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 digital camera, I wasn't even in the market for a new camera. However, after reading over some of the features that this digital camera provides, I decided that it was definitely worth the investment. During family reunions and gatherings, I'm often the one that's expected to take pictures of the events and share them with the rest of the family, so having a great camera is essential.

The Lumix DMC-FZ35 camera had one feature that definitely set it apart from other cameras I had looked at in the past. With its ability to record HD movies at a resolution as high as 1280x720 pixels, I was finally able to take high quality videos of our family gatherings. I had never before been able to do that, and it was a feature that was greatly appreciated by many of my family members!

The battery life on this camera is also fantastic. Panasonic claims that this camera can take up to 470 photos on a single battery charge and this claim is no exaggeration. The Lumix DMC-FZ35 camera is perhaps the most high powered, energy efficient camera that I have ever seen in my life.

There are some features the camera has that I have yet to even use. They have a "Creative Movie mode" which allows you to manually adjust the shutter speed and the aperture.

While I originally got this camera just to have something to take high quality pictures (and later, videos) of family gatherings, this camera has now sparked my interest in the world of photography and movie making.
