The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 is slightly larger than most typical 5x compact cameras but can still comfortably fit in ones shirt pocket just fine. It has a metal body and a sleek and stylish rectangular design, fit to compete structurally with most cameras in its class. The ZS7 has rounded edges for extra comfort and support and also features a small ridge along the right front of the camera where the shutter button is for increased grip. This camera is designed for careful actions, and slip ups are very rare for the ZS7.

The Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera is also extremely versatile and will keep people shooting photos all day long. It has 15 MB of internal memory and can support SD/ SDHC/ SDXC memory sticks, so if consumers are switching from different brands, they will most likely not have to purchase additional memory. This feature can also give consumers the opportunity to buy alternative types of memory as well and shop around for the best priced items. The camera also includes a battery charger, pack and case, and includes a USB cable, a hand strap, and a CD-ROM.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 digital camera has a variety of menus and modes that will surely keep the user involved in working with the camera, but not so involved that you don't enjoy using it.  In fact, the hardest part of using the camera will be determining what mode to shoot your photos in (and that's about as easy as it gets on a camera).  There are four types: record, motion picture, travel mode, and setup. Travel mode deals with setting GPS and date/time/location information for encoding photos or video. And for viewing these modes, one can surely enjoy the display on a 3.0-inch LCD monitor that has close to 460,000 dot composition and which is adjustable for two levels of brightness. There is no viewfinder for the ZS7. Overall the camera is an excellent purchase for consumers.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 is able to to take 12.1 mega-pixel pictures and is able to record video in High Definition. It has a Mini-HDMI socket that can be used to connect directly to a tv with a Mini-hdmi to Hdmi cable.I like to save all of my pictures and movies to SDHC Secure Digital Memory Cards a few 32 gb ones and I am all ready to go. The camera has a rechargeable battery so if I am on a road trip I can always have one charging while using the other one. The camera takes great pictures if your at all interested look up some sample 12.1 mega-pixel shots online. The videos you can make are ok but they can be very big so make sure to have a lot of space on your memory cards, or at least some extra ones just for the video, since you will be sure to enjoy the quality of the image as soon as you hook the Lumix DMC-ZS7 up to your tv with a Hdmi cable and watch it in hd. The pictures you take will look great as well. After a while the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 starts to feel like somewhat of a necessity to bring with you there is always the chance that something you want a good quality picture of will come up. I love that if I need to I can take a picture of a celebrity, or if on a bad chance of luck I am in a car accident I have the ability to take quality pictures to have the proof and don’t need to try and remember fuzzy details myself when I am in shock. The only real regret is that my mother wants one too, and if she comes over I need to hide the camera so she does not take it for all the time and money she used to raise me!

Bargain Price Watch: Amazon has the black DMC-ZS7 camera for $257 as of today, which is cheaper than the new versions for sale at eBay. List price was $349, but the camera has typically been at or below $280.
