In addition to cheer duties, Marlana has also posed for the annual Tampa Bay Cheerleaders calendar for the last two years.

As of July 2010, Marlana Aref is 21 years old. She was born March 10, 1989 and is a US citizen, stating in her official bio that Tampa Bay, Florida is her hometown. Marlana is 5'6" tall. In her official Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleader video, she states that she attends the University of South Florida, with a major in bio-medical science.
