Pepsi Cease Fire – Have You Tried it? Where Can You Get It?

Just got this Pepsi Cease Fire today at our local store, and apparently it's a hot topic right now! If you tend to drink more diets than regular soda, and like your sodas to be chock full of caffeine, then you've probably had a Pepsi Max. But the Pepsi Cease Fire or Pepsi Max Cease Fire, unlike the others, does not have that weird aftertaste you get with that acesulfame potassium that Pepsi puts in the Max drinks. The Cease Fire is actually a great Pepsi drink!
I believe there is a cross promotion going on with the Pepsi Cease Fire and Doritos. The label on the back asks you to try Doritos Burn flavors with the Pepsi Cease Fire which gives you a lot of hot with the Doritos but cools you off quick with the Cease Fire (I'm guessing with the "hint of lime"). So as long as the Doritos Burn flavors are available, this drink should be to.
I'm guessing, if you are here, you are searching for places to get a Pepsi Cease Fire. I hate to tell it (because I could be stingy about it), but try your local Dollar General store. If you are in the South, you'll know this store is on almost every corner. Kinda like a Starbucks is on every corner, but less classy. I've found them in several DG's. You may also be able to find them in Amazon's Grocery Department, but you'll have to buy a case if they are still available. Update: I found the 2 Liter bottles in Kroger this morning, so if you want to get your fix in a bigger package, they have them. They were cheaper than the regular Pepsi Max, too, so bargain time!
If you have found them yourselves, you know they are in short supply, but share what stores you have found them in your local neighborhoods. If you like it, you want as many people trying it as possible so Pepsi will keep making it!
Sorry about the empty bottle photos. I drank it before I realized it was a hard to find item. Going back to buy a bunch more tomorrow!

Cease Fire is disgusting. Why would Pepsi take its best tasting product, and ruin it?

I got Cease Fire today. I like it.
Noticed something about Cease Fire. DO NOT drink one every day for 5 days. That was a bit too much damn caffeine for me! Still one of the best drinks out there, though, I think.
I was in Quick Chek and saw it, never heard of Ceasefire so I grabbed it and they had a coupon to get the chips free. The chips tasted awesome, and the drink was beyond godly. I normally opt for Coke over Pepsi but this was one of the best soda’s I had ever had.
Update on this one: I finally found the Doritos that you are supposed to eat with the Pepsi Cease Fire. I purchased a bag of the 2nd Degree Burn Doritos, but those should come with a warning. They weren’t too hot or spicy until the after burn hit! If you like spicy foods, then you will definitely like the 2nd degree burn Doritos. I would recommend that you get two Pepsi Cease Fires instead of just one. You’ll need it to finish a 99 cent bag of Burn chips!
Jack’s 99cent store on 31st/32nd currently has 2 bottles for 99 cents. I bought a case (6 bottles) for $3.98
Thanks for letting us know! We don’t have Jack’s 99 cent store here, so we can’t take advantage of that. Although we do have Dollar Tree. Might be a good little trip just to see if they have a sale.

I love Cease Fire, but have a hard time finding it in the 20 oz bottles. Target had it at the checkout for a while, but not now. One out of 4 Kroger’s in my city had it once, but I bought them all and they never got more. Some Chevron stations have it. Just not easy to find and I really, like it.
Thanks for the comment, Gina! We still have it in our local Kroger (2 liter) and Wal-Mart (2 liter and 20 oz.), and it appears that it’s being restocked. Hopefully it will come back around to your area.
