If you feel like Rice Krispies might be just a bit too healthy, then try a box of Rice Krispies Treats cereal! While the cereal cannot successfully complete with the awesomeness that comes from creating Rice Krispies Treats from scratch, if you can't find someone to step up to that level of greatness for you, then the cereal is a nice runner-up.

Unfortunately, Rice Krispies Treats cereal is no longer sold in many parts of the country. You can thank the busybody parents who ruined the availability of Sugar Smacks, Booberry, and Count Chocula because they are all "not good" for you or "unhealthy". Sheesh! The nerve of people!

Thankfully we have the internet which allows us to be able to purchase pretty much anything we want, and of course we can purchase Rice Krispies Treat cereal online. Amazon comes through again with a nice 4-box package for just a little bit more than you might expect to pay for a regular box of cereal locally. Purchasing groceries online gives us a little glimpse into just how much it costs to purchase cereals in other parts of the country, so the pricing here might be much more than expected in a normal box. But if Rice Krispies Treats cereal isn't available to you and you've gotta have them, then the price is probably not your main concern!

So just how does this cereal compare to the standard Rice Krispies cereal? Pretty good actually. Aside from the high fructose corn syrup in this cereal and it not being in the regular Rice Krispies, there isn't anything else really bad for your health in it. Yes, there are probably better or more healthy cereals you could eat, and HFCS is a pretty bad ingredient in its own right. But we could do worse.
