The Samsung LN40B530 40-Inch LCD HDTV was one that I initially was a bit uncertain about. Though it seemed to have all the features I was looking for, I was a bit hesitant about buying a Samsung as I had a bad experience several years ago and had moved on to Sony products for television purchases. Man, am I glad I went ahead with the purchase!
The Samsung LN40B530 40-Inch LCD HDTV has been one of the most reliable and enjoyable televisions that I have ever owned. I bought it, brought it home and installed it all in the course of about an hour. The set up could not be made any easier. I easily mounted it and hooked up all of my peripherals in a matter of a half hour or so. It is light as a feather, so you can easily move it into whatever location by yourself.

What I love the most about my Samsung LCD HDTV is that regardless of where I sit in my living room, I am able to see the television with total clarity. Many other HDTV options begin to blur or lose their color when you move off to the side, but not my Samsung. This television is crystal clear HDTV from virtually any angle.

Another great thing about this television is the casing. Some HDTV options do not look clean up on the wall due to wide frames. This is not the case with the Samsung LN40B530 HDTV. It has minimal frame, so it looks like the television is literally coming from the wall.
Finally, I love that this Samsung 40-Inch LCD HDTV retains all of the color and resolution with my video games. My Playstation 3 looks outstanding, and it gives my gaming experience a boost when the colors do not bleed over. There is nothing quite like gaming on that huge 40-inch screen.
About the only thing that I would say needs improving is the sound. While it is far from bad, I have seen much better sound in other HDTV options. Because I use a surround system with my television, however, it becomes a non-issue for me in the end.
If you are looking for a reliable, great looking television that won't cost you a fortune, then the Samsung LN40B530 40-Inch LCD HDTV is the television for you.
