As far as sound quality, the Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones are pretty much what you expect from a set of $50-$60 headphones. Sennheiser attempts to create the best sound from all three ranges (bass, mid, and highs) without creating faults or much distinction from any of the three. The high notes are nice and sharp without the softness you might hear on cheaper headphones. Bass is pretty strong from the RS120 headphones, and blends nicely with the mid range sound. Understandably, you are paying more for the wireless feature available with the Sennheiser RS120 headphones and not so much for the sound quality. That being said, the sound produced is on par with other wired versions of Sennheiser at the $60 range.

The Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones are rated with a range of up to 120 feet before they begin to fault and lose connectivity. However, for best performance, we recommend that you stay within 50 feet of the transmission cradle. That's not to say that the RS120 headphones don't work outside of that range. But if the quality of the sound is the most important feature for you, then 50 feet is a good place to be. If manueverability is the most important feature with the ability to continue listening, then the Sennheiser RS120 headphones should function quite well.

Interference from other transmission sources can be a concern for any wireless device, and to account for other FM, AM, and even cellphone interference, the Sennheiser RS120 headphones are built with three channels to choose from to get the best possible sound with the least amount of interference. If interference does occur with your RS120's, just switch to another channel and keep listening!

And finally, the Sennheiser RS120 headphones allow for multiple users with the transmission cradle. It's possible to purchase another RS120 headphone set and use the headphones with just one cradle connected to your audio or video source. You may also purchase Sennheiser HDR120 headphones (without a cradle) and use those headphones with the RS120 setup. However, the price without the cradle is almost the same as with the cradle, so our recommendation is to just go ahead and purchase the complete Sennheiser RS120 headphone set.

If you are looking for mid to high-level sound quality from your headphones, without the hassle of cables, and with the ability to move around, then we strongly recommend you take a look at the Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones. For the amount of money you will pay for the Sennheiser's you will be pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and convenience that you experience!
