The Shure PGX24 comes with a PGX2 Handheld Transmitter (to hold your Shure microphone cartridge) and the PGX4 Diversity receiver. You do have options as far as the microphone cartridge goes, with the SM58, BETA58, SM86, and PG58 microphone cartridges. However mosts people do choose the SM58 setup. Whichever you decide, the Shure PGX24 system is easy to set-up simply because the set-up process is an automatic set-up with just a touch of a button. The set-up process is so simply that an eight year-old child could set it up properly.

To set up the Shure PGX24 system properly, you must plug the PGX24 Diversity receiver up, then you have to place two AA batteries into the PGX2 Handheld Transmitter (wireless microphone) and then you're ready to get started. Let the PGX2 and PGX4 pick the perfect frequency for your performance, and you should be ready to start the show!

The PGX2 Handheld Transmitter has industry standard quality and high vocal abilities.
