The cables on the Shure SE535 earphones are also an integral part of making these earphones a special accessory. Due to the cost, you will most likely own the Shure SE535 earphones for years, and the lifetime of the cable is very important in that regard. The SE535's cable wiring is built to withstand and last for a very long time with Kevlar reinforcement throughout the entire 64 inches of cable. And if you do manage to wear out the cable, they are detachable at the ear, so you can purchase new cables without having to purchase an entirely new set of SE535's. I would fully expect the cables to wear within 3-4 years for normal use, and probably two years for those who will use them on a daily basis. It all depends on how much movement you have while wearing these earphones.
To help fit the Shure SE535 earphones to your profile, a Shure fit kit comes with every new purchase of SE535's. Three different sizes of foam and soft flex sleeves are in the kit to personalize the fit to your ear and your comfort. There are also a pair ot triple flange and a pair of yellow foam sleeves for further comfort or choice. Options are completely up to you, but mostly center around your ear comfort against how much outside noise you want to eliminate. An MMCX connector rounds out the comfort on the Shure SE535 earphones by allowing for 360 degrees of rotation of the wires at the earpiece, meaning no more tangles of wire while you are wearing them (you always wondered how the wires on other earphones could get so tangled during wear, didn't you?).
For new sets of the Shure SE535 triple high-definition earphones, Shure has included a two year limited warranty, further protecting your higher dollar investment against any manufacturing defects or issues.
