The Sony A330 DSLR camera is a fantastic little entry-level DSLR camera! Most people gravitate to the Sony A330 due to already owning lenses for Minolta or Sony equipment, but quickly find that the A330 surpasses what they expected to find in an entry model. Starting off with the resolution: at 10.2 megapixels, the Sony A330 takes your shot and creates a top-quality image, even if you need it to be a rather large image.

The Sony A330L camera also features Sony's "Live View" along with a tilting LCD screen. For those of you coming from point and shoot cameras, you'll love the live feature of being able to watch from the LCD screen instead of the viewfinder, and taking pictures based on what you see through it. And because it's tiltable, you can take a shot from any angle (overhead, from below, around the corner), and the photo will come out fantastic without any strain to get that perfect shot!

If you happen to own a Sony Bravia HDTV or home theater system, the Sony A330L has a built-in HDMI connection so you can view your photos from your television, and "slideshow" through the photos with your TV's remote. You'll have plenty of photos to watch this way, since the A330L can carry an SD card and a memory stick at the same time, so you have plenty of memory to store your photos.

As mentioned above, this Sony camera fits all older Minolta lenses, so if you already have lenses, and need a camera they will fit, then you're in luck with the A330L. If you want a new camera, but would rather purchase used lenses, then you can purchase some great quality used Minolta or Sony lenses pretty cheaply.
