The Sony Alpha A390 DSLR camera is in actuality a remake of its predecessor, the Sony Alpha A380 camera. The only real differences are in the way Sony redesigned the case. The chrome or silver has been completely replaced to make the camera black. The hand grip is much improved in the Sony Alpha A390 camera as well.
