The Sony BDP-S360 blu-ray player features full HD 1080p output and will also play your old DVDs upconverting them also to 1080p. Combined with the 24p True Cinema technology that plays movies at their intended frame rate of 24 fps, the picture cannot be beat. Another great feature you don’t get with many Blu-ray players is the BD Live internet connection. Simply attach to a broadband internet connection and bonus content is instantly available for many Blu-ray discs.
Early Blu-ray players, and many new models from other manufacturers can take forever to power on and load a disc. With the Sony BDP-S360 and the Quick Start mode, that time is cut to a mere 6 seconds. There is also a picture-in-picture mode for viewing commentaries on the side. Instead of the commentaries taking over the entire production, they can now be relegated to the corner.
