The modern market for digital cameras is filled with many brands that all promise to grant their owner the best picture taking experience that ever occurred. However, this is rarely the truth in reality. Clunky controls, improperly created drivers, and poor craftsmanship, can weaken the value of any camera.
These are not an issue faced by anyone purchasing the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H20. Sony's new Cyber-shot has many interesting features that set it apart from weaker models. Some of the most prominent ones are its 10.1 mega-pixel capacity, steady shot image stabilization, and an optical zoom that is ten times standard. These three features allow for a sharper image to be captured with less of the motion blur many other cameras will transmit to their images during hand-held shots.

* The automatic mode has a greater level of sensitivity than previous iterations and will adjust ambient light levels for capturing images with the best clarity. There are two versions of this mode. The standard mode was mentioned previously. The advanced mode will capture two images to allow for the greatest clarity and options with an individual image.
* Face recognition technology allows for glare and other picture devaluing issues to be removed while taking a high-end shot of family and friends.
* The ability to wed music to the images taken with the camera allows for great fun when crafting the perfect image, or even a singing holiday e-card.
Each of these features is a great reason to purchase the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H20 by itself. However, the capacity that many enjoy most is the picture and music features that allow for the creation of images with background music. The camera houses a few songs or musical tones within it, but the owner has to link to a computer and download other music files they wish to use.
Overall the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H20 deserves four out of five stars. It is an excellent digital camera that is easy to use with great capacity.
