Trek road bicycles have taken a hit lately due to the Lance Armstrong-Greg Lemond feud.  By speaking out, Greg Lemmond may have caused indirect harm to Trek.  Trek was the official supplier of Greg Lemmond bikes and was the frame of choice for Lance Armstrong's team.

Hopefully, all of the problems between the three parties have subsided now, and Trek can again come back to prominence as a premier bicycle manufacturer.  If Armstrong does indeed return to the Tour in 2009, Trek popularity will increase if he chooses Trek road bikes again.
