I had no idea the little but sturdy Washburn Rover Acoustic guitar existed until my future brother-in-law brought it home for Thanksgiving this weekend. The guitar is 24″ in length with a solid spruce top and a mahogany body and neck. We’re not professional musicians by any means, but the sound from the guitar, while much quieter than a normal acoustic, produced a great sound!
My brother-in-law chose the Natural Satin Rover, but it can be purchased in black, trans blue, and trans red. The Washburn Rover comes with a great cordura case which is said to fit perfectly in the overhead on a plane so you can take it with you on trips very easily. It also has an instruction DVD and a few picks to get you started right out of the box, so to speak. I’m planning on picking up the black Rover soon!
Before we show you the “new” Washburn Rover Travel Guitars, here are a few of the guitars available right now at auction!
