Weekly Roundup of Bargains and Deals: May 4 2010

In an effort to declutter in general around my home, I became a little sidetracked on scanners this week: specifically the ones that allow you to scan in documents as a pdf so you can trash the originals. And I say sidetracked because I did start there, but then I moved along to photo scanners, which is pretty close to the document scanner I guess. Yeah, it probably is!

Canon CanoScan 8800F Scanner - it says it's a scanner but the 8800F can also email the documents that are scanned.  So you can save what you scan as a pdf, or just send it along.

Epson Perfection V600 Photo Color Scanner - not a document scanner, but a photo scanner, and a color one at that!  12 negatives can be scanned at a time, or four slides.  And of course you probably can scan other documents as well, but the Epson is built for those who need it for photos.

Fujitsu fi-6130 Duplex Scanner - a PDF scanner yes, but the Fujitsu has the capability to duplex documents that you want to scan, and does a pretty quick job of it!

Epson GT-S50 Document Scanner - the Epson GT-S50 is the workhorse of the scanners listed here, allowing for up to 1200 pages of scanning per day!  If you need a scanner for a busy, busy office, then the Epson GT-S50 is probably on your short list of scanners!

Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountains - I've written about the Breville juice fountains before, and with good reason:  they are some of the best juicers on the planet!  This particular Breville is a little bit cheaper than the rest, so I thought it was a great time to review it.
