Weekly Roundup of Bargains and Deals – September 19 2010

It's that time again! Time to post up what we've been up to in the last couple of weeks! But first, I'd like to show what has been popular with our readers during the past 14 days:

Used Cub Scout Uniforms - it's that time of year again when all the little Cub Scouts re-join for the school year. And undoubtedly parents are looking for bargains on those uniforms. We personally know that the Cub Scout uniforms are kinda expensive, especially since the accessories are just worn for one year.

Chainsaws - it's getting close to fall (Wednesday of this week is the official day or September 22nd), so people are searching for bargains on chainsaws.  Specifically our Stihl, Husqvarna, and Jonsered chainsaw review pages are the most popular.  I don't know about other areas, but I hope our part of the country cools down a bit for people to actually be able to cut some wood with these bargain chainsaws.

Road Bikes - lots of people ride their road bikes all year long, but there's several of us (yes me included) that kinda skip the summer months and pick back up in the Fall.  Our Pinarello, Orbea, Cervelo, and Bianchi road bicycle pages have become very popular of late.

As always, my Goldwing Trikes page is popular, but I don't want to dwell on it too much.  I'm proud that people find it so useful though, as it get multiples more visits than the next closest page.

And now for the latest product reviews!

Apple Products:

Apple iPod Nano 6th Generation - Apple has revamped the Nano into a smaller sized MP3 player.  Gone is the ability to play video, but the 6th generation Nano does have the touch screen like the iTouch and iPhone.

Bikes and Bike Parts:

Zipp 1080 Wheels - some of the fastest wheels available for high-end road bikes are Zipp 1080 wheels.  If you are thinking about purchasing a new wheelset, check out the Zipp 1080's.

Cameras:

Canon PowerShot SD1400IS camera - just one camera this week, but it's a nice little starter DSLR camera, and the price is right, too.  More cameras on the way next week, I think!

Home Theater Systems and A/V Receivers:

Bose LifeStyle V30

Bose LifeStyle V35 - one of my personal favorites, the Bose v35 Lifestyle system is easy to setup and sounds great!  It's fairly expensive, but the sound is just incredible.  You have to hear it to believe it.

Klipsch CS-500 home theater

LG LHB535 Network home theater system

Marantz SR7002 surround receiver

Onkyo HT-RC260 A/V receiver - a 7.2 channel receiver that doesn't cost an awfully lot.  It's my pick for the best A/V receiver for the money.

Onkyo HT-S3300 receiver

Onkyo TX-SR508 receiver

Pioneer VSX-919AH receiver

Yamaha RX-V665I 7.2 channel receiver

Movies:

Firefly - The Complete Series - one of my favorite series of all time, Firefly merges science fiction with a western atmosphere (think spaceships and six shooters).  Sadly, it only last a short time, but you can have your own copy after you read our review!

That's it for the past two weeks.  Thank you all for your visits as always.  If there's anything that I can do for any of you, first time visitor, or subscriber, just let me know via the comments below!
