Weekly RoundUp of Bargains and Reviews: March 15 2010

Another interesting week here at Find Cheap Bargains! I've noticed that even though the blog is titled "Find Cheap Bargains", if I write about anything that doesn't have anything to do with cheap bargains, I get more traffic than when I do write about the bargains! I'm definitely not complaining, but just mentioning it because its fun to see that something I find interesting is also interesting to all of you out there! Here are the posts that we wrote about this week, and thanks again for visiting us! If you have any opinions to add, articles that you would like to guest post for us, just let me know in the comment area of any post on the site.

Our most popular article this week concerned my Alma Mater, Itawamba Agricultural High School, and their denial of a student from attending prom, and then the cancellation of said prom after the national media got the story. I'm still shocked at the way the people in charge at the school let this blow up the way it did. You can read my feelings about it, but no matter how you feel, if you read much about it, you can see how so much could have been prevented.

Other reviews and articles of note:

Sony DVP-FX930 Portable DVD Player - I finished up the 5 review section on portable DVD players with the Sony DVP-FX930.

A couple of new coupons this week that were interesting: the possibility of purchasing Office 2007 now and getting Office 2010 for free later on was very appealing. As were the good deals for European travelers at Lastminute.com.

The Canon PowerShot SX20IS digital camera was one of two cameras that we thought were pretty good bargains. And even though it wasn't available in the color shown at the time of writing, the Nikon Coolpix S8000 is a very nice digital camera that we thought our readers would appreciate!

We also started a "Bargain of the Day" post for each day that we can find a good deal on a popular product. You can usually find that deal at the top of our front page under Headline. Since this is relatively new, we're not sure how it's going to do, as you will have to find the deal pretty quickly to take advantage of it, so you'll have to be a regular reader to see it. NewEgg and Kohl's bargains highlighted the Bargain of the Day this week!

We also started a little Find Cheap Bargains Forum this week so that you can post deals you find to our site. Right now we are posting as we see bargains, but only as many as we have time to do, so it's going to be up to our readers to help each other out!
