Weekly Roundup- Site Review, Bargains, and Deals June 13 2010

It has been a very busy week here at FCB! I finally got up the courage to move this site to it's own hosting this week. It took about three days of work making sure that everything was moved successfully, but in the end, I believe this was the best move I've made so far! The site is already completely loading in under 3 seconds, which is pretty darn good considering the old server could take up to 11 seconds under certain circumstances. The next item on the list is to get it to down to about a 1 second page load!
I've also been doing a little bit of "value adding" to each page we write. A lot of you just want to see the sales, and that's perfectly fine. Heck, I encourage you to see the sales! But others would like to see more information, or other reviews on the product they are searching. So, we're attempting to make the site more authoritative by adding references to each page and post, and by adding images and relevant videos. I think this will help the site to be more helpful to everyone out there, and that's what I want it to be: more helpful and more relevant to you.
There has also been a change to the sidebar. On each post, you can now see other product reviews that we have written that are relevant to the one you are searching. We have something similar to this on our pages (wordpress allows for different types of pages: either pages or posts), and wanted the same thing on posts.
But, I'm guessing you didn't come here to read about what I've been up to all week (if you have let's talk), and would prefer to see what reviews we have completed! So, on with the show!

We received a good bit of traffic this week on our outdoor grill and smoker reviews, so thanks for that!

BMW R1200CLC - I've had several readers searching for the R1200CLC, so I thought it was a good time to write about it!
Fiat 126 - I'm pretty proud of this review, because I spent several days researching this one. It's a pretty neat little car, and I hope you get the time to read the review.
Hope Dworaczyk - this one might be a little weird, considering the site name, but I wanted to see what would happen if I picked a trending topic to write about. Google has changed their search algorithm to only include the freshest content, and I just picked Hope Dworaczyk out of the blue. No, there aren't any Playboy pictures on the post I wrote, but it did do what I expected! Expect to see more reviews in the coming weeks that look more like wikipedia pages, than bargain pages (but almost definitely not Playboy bunny pages).
Suzuki Katana Rear Signal Lights - again, a lot of searches for this particular item in the past couple of months, so we needed a special page for those guests to find what they need.
Updated Pages:
We updated a ton of pages this week (seriously a ton), but these two in particular receive a good bit of traffic, so I wanted to give them a little boost here in this writeup!
That's it for this week! One one hand, I hope that next week isn't nearly so busy, but on the other, busy is a good thing because we get a ton of traffic from search land when we work harder! As long as I don't have to move another site this week, I'll be glad to work hard on providing more of the reviews that you want!
